Honies I'm HOME :)
I'm home and in tears........it is 11:40PM on Sunday night we have been home for 1.5 hours and have had my family all here welcoming us home.
BUT NOOOOOO That is NOT why I'm in tears. Rob, thinks I'm losing it and really need sleep. Want to read what put me in tears? Hold UP - Let me retrace first. I get on the computer to check on the stores blog and then my friends blogs to see how they are all doing cause I miss both the store and the girls.
I click on Hollees Blog and this is what I read. Sorry, Hollee but I don't know if you meant for it to be seen by all but I had to share:
Title - "F" WORD
Holy "F" Word Bat man!!! It's Sunday afternoon, and I'm in the process of totalling up the sales receipts from yesterdays yard sale!!! Anyone who had the chance to stop by knows exactly what "F" word I'm talking about!!! LOL I was silly enough to presume that I'd have a "steady" day, with little spare time. I was expecting to have a few minutes to at least get my bearings and put my purse down before letting people in to the back room a few at a time...well, as I tell my kids - "It's good to want things - it builds Character!" LOL
The line up outside the store that ran back past Medi-chair at 10 to 10 was a pretty big reality check!! I had no idea that so many people would stop by! I missed Nic so bad it wasn't even funny, but I learned something very important about the store yesterday...Nic is truely Loved and no matter what, there are a ton of people out there who value and support her as both a business and a friend!
Poor Robin was doing everything she could to help AND look after the store while I was jammed in with 20 plus bargain hunters and a line up that was squishing into the back room, filling Robs side of the store entirely! (Did I mention that the AC was off??) Then...Mel showed up to shop, but waived the opportunity in favor of helping a friend! Wow!! the Local LSS is boraged with yard sailors and with no hesitation, she just jumped in! Not 20 minutes later, Sarah shows up too! There is no way for me to say how much that meant to me, and to the store!! It really hit home, just how many of us take so much ownership for "Nics place"!! You'd never see that kind of gesture at Wal-Mart or even the local convenience store! Any other business would have their customers saying "sucks to be you" as they take their business elsewhere...but not here! Not at Nics:) I think it's totally great that so many of us watch out for our little LSS like we would for each other kids at the park:) Yesterday was a total hit - although Rob would have totally peed his pants to see his entire side of the store bulging with ladies waiting in line to pay for thier treasures:) Sorry Rob! It had to be done:) From 10am to well after 1:00 the entire store was hopping, and Chris just shook his head while Robin, Mel & Sarah took payments and I sprinted to Keystones for change!! So I guess the other "F" word for yesterday was "Friendship" because without the help of great friends yesterday could have turned out very differently. Funny how when things get truely crazy, all the good folks rise to the top to help and those who truely are friends are the ones to stick around to help see you through:) Thanks a zillion guys!! and just so you know, we had at least 85 customers in from 10 to 1!!! That doesn't iclude the ladies who combined their sales on 1 recept, or the ones who left before making it to the back room!! HOLY COW!!! I am very very lucky to be a part of such an awsomely wonderful group of people who surrounds our LSS. I've made a ton of great friends and without them, I'd be wearing a lovely white jacket with the sleeves in the back!! LOL So, on that happy note, I must resume counting initials and totalling totals:) Oh and as a final note...todays scrapping challenge is: Scrap something on my behalf cuz I'm not gonna get to for a while;)Happy Scrappin!!HP
OK - that got me bawling. I'm not a crier either but it got my heart strings! I am 1 lucky girl and I totally can't thank everybody enough! You know what they say that sometimes there just isn't the right words? Well that is me right now.....maybe I should of stopped and prethought out my response to the above and to yesterday to make it *Sound* more heartfelt. But I reassure you it is 100% FELT BIG!
Yes, the CompuPro Family is home safe and sound! Papa CompuPro goes to work tomorrow. Mama CompuPro is at home doing the dozen loads of laundry. I will probably have to stop in though as I hear there is really GREAT new Stuff for me :) You know what who am I kidding I will probably be in later in the day to check in on stuff.
Did the new Quickutz arrive yet?
Oh - and just wait till you see the Special Edition Items the BooCrew will be unveiling! Are they done yet?
I'm very excited to be home! I can't wait to be in the store to see you all.
Oh - and another THING - 85 PEOPLE came to the Yard Sale! Holy!!!!!! That is crazy!!!! What happenned to the AC? LOL - I'm sure this will go down in history :)
Hugs,
nick

The yard sale was a total smash hit! We got loads of fantastic suggestions for the next one! Everyone defonately loves a great deal and there was no shortage of those - that's for sure!! I think the AC got turned off at closing?? Who knows, but when I checked it (while momentarily admiring your oh-so-lovely new shelf I promised you months ago)after a mad dash for change it was totally off - which explained why it was like a Sauna in the back room!! LOL Good thing I'm not totally chlostraphobic! ;) I know that everyone would have loved more time to browse for bargains, but everyones patience was totally appreciated!! I'm thinking we should do it again, sometime soon...but maybe hold it in the stinky hall with Waaaay more space?? Oh!! And find some way to include food!!! Thoughts??
Love ya nick:) Glad to have ya back gurl-friend!! It just isn't the same without ya!!
oh-p.s...pretty sure I totally screwed up inventory :( sorry :(
Welcome Back!
See you soon!
:-)
Welcome Back Nick.
Bailey had so much fun helping Hollee and Sarah do cash outs, she was spectacular, she wanted to stay and help, she cried when I tried to leave and I thought she would have a fit if we stayed! Go figure, even my kid loves the store! LOL
Welcome back Nicole, you were missed
We missed you Nick - can't wait to see you.
I have to say that the Yard sale was a terrific idea, and yes, it was very busy. Other then the fact that a couple of the "staff" that were helping out were quite rude and "unhappy" (for lack of a better word), it seemed to go well, at least the customers were in a good mood!
Thanks Nick, missed your smile and kind disposition!
Nic,
Glad you are back and that you had a super vacation. We did too. We'll share notes next time I see you. Glad someone finally put into words what you mean to all of us. You are synonomous with your business, the mark of a great business woman. I always laughed when my students complained they went to Compupro and Nicole wasn't there!!!As if you live there!
It was crazy busy but fun to help out. I always enjoy putting faces to names.
Sarah
Thank you Knucklesmom for pointing out the staff was happy to help, I thought they were all very friendly and helpful as well.
Princess faces to names is always helpful.
