Let's talk details!!
I know - I know...I still haven't posted the step by step for the chipboard...I'll get to it I swear, I just got distracted by feedback!! (wink wink ;)
I asked for feedback, and you guys have provided TONS!!! One word that was made loud and clear is that YOU WANT CLASSES!!! lol YAY cuz I LOVE classes too!! :)
While racking my brain over what type of class, techniques etc. it occured to me that most of us just want to get a bunch done...sooo...what better way than with a 10 pages in 1 night??
So - Let's talk details...
In this class, you'll complete 10 layouts in 2 hours. Needless to say, it will be a lesson in "speed-scrappin" cuz even with 2 hours and everything ready to go...that only leaves 12 minutes per page!! lol
Everything will be prepared in advance, so you won't need trimmers or tools, only adhesive. That way, we can stay on schedule and it also means that everyone can enjoy the class, weather you're a seasoned pro or brand shiney new to scrapping :)
Because it will be a very "active" class, we only have room for 8 people. With enough interest, and provided my own life doesnt' get any crazier...I may be able to run it a 2nd time but I can't guarantee it.
Cost is $30. + TX and must be paid in advance. There is a ton of preparation that goes into a class this size. Each participant will be completing 10 layouts…but that means that I'll have to prepare 80! (gulp!) I need to be sure that I have a commitment from everyone who has signed up. If something should happen that you can't make, I'll prepare a take out kit for you so that you can still take advantage of the class.
Dates...that's the next big question. I'm working with Nic to try to confirm a date, but I'd like to know if anyone has a preference. Please let me know when the best time is for you and I'll work with Nic to sort out the rest.
Sooooo...If you'd like to sign up - let me know cuz I officially have a TON of work to do!! lol YAY!!! (sung to the tune of "I'm the king of the castle") We're teaching a class at Ni-ics - we're teachin a class at Ni-ics - We're teachin a class at Ni-ics!

I'm in! The only night I can't do it is Wednesday night but other than that I am good to go!
woot woot....sounds too good to be true. I'm in. Wednesday nights are bad for me too. Is it possible to do a work day not a weekend since the class is only 2 hours, that is my only input!

Since I live in Harvey and have to wait for my dh to return our only vehicle, the absolute earliest I can be at a class is 7 PM (unless it was on a Saturday). The only night I'm unavailable is Tuesday. Can't wait!
I can, however, wait for the chipboard instructions, since I get the impression I'll be file set shopping to follow them correctly :)
Also, are NSD crop plans in the works? I had SUCH a great time last year!

I'm in as long as the class starts by 6pm during the week or anytime during the weekend (life with a baby!)
Will the kids classes ever come back?.. I've been telling lots of people about the kids classes but there hasn't been a kids class in ages.. Toodles..
I, Vicki, am totally in. I am on Maternity Leave so anytime is really good for me, or at least until the baby comes! Haha. All I would need to bring is pictures right? Will there be some kind of indication as to a theme for each layout ahead of time so I can co-ordinate pictures? my e-mail is v.vonrichter@gmail.com so you can get a hold of me.

Any night is good for me but Monday night and I am sure that Debbie will come too...she has been waaaaaiiittting for this the happen again. A 6:00 pm start would be good. When is the class???????
